Oxygen bag

This oxygen bag was created for a gentleman in my town who relies on oxygen every day. He had searched everywhere for something practical, comfortable, and beautifully made but nothing existed that truly suited his needs.

He came to me with an idea, and together we sketched, shaped, and refined it. After days of research, testing, and building a product from the ground up, we crafted something completely unique.

What began as a simple request became a reminder of why I love this craft: solving real problems through thoughtful design and quality materials. He now uses his bag every day, and he’s often stopped by people who want to tell him how good it looks.

This is what leatherwork means to me: creating pieces that make a difference in someone’s life.

Knife Sheath

My friend Connor came to me with a handmade knife he had crafted himself, a beautiful piece of work that deserved a sheath to match its quality. He wanted something functional, durable, and made with the same level of care he had poured into his blade.

We spent time discussing how he planned to use it, and together we decided on a combination of a belt loop and a belt clip, giving him the freedom to wear it with different trousers and in different settings.

From there, I designed a sheath that not only protects the knife but also allows him to draw it smoothly with one hand, even when it’s securely fastened.

This project was a perfect example of what I love about custom leatherwork, taking someone’s craft, their ideas, and their needs, and shaping them into something that feels truly made for them.

Axe Sheath

My friend is a gardener and tree surgeon. After investing in a high-quality axe, he found that the blade cover it came with was poorly designed and fell apart not long after he bought it. He needed something safer, stronger, and built to withstand the demands of his work.

When he came to me, our goal was simple: protect the blade so no one gets injured, while still allowing him to use the axe as a sledgehammer when felling trees.

From that brief, I designed a robust, practical cover that keeps the edge secure without limiting the tool’s versatility. Projects like this remind me why I love custom leatherwork, solving real problems with thoughtful design and long-lasting materials.

Custom Key ring

My dad came to me with a special request: 200 keyrings featuring his church logo. A simple project on the surface, but meaningful, something personal to hand out and a small item people would carry with them every day.

I designed and crafted each keyring with care, making sure the logo was clear, clean, and long-lasting. It was a lovely reminder of how leatherwork can bring people together through small, thoughtful objects.

This type of project works beautifully for churches, weddings, businesses, events, anywhere a personalised touch can make a moment or message feel that bit more special.
